I’m Leigh Edwards, founder of The Move Doctor.

Do I need a gym or lots of equipment?

No. The Blueprint has been designed to be practical and accessible, with clear guidance throughout. Some exercises may use equipment to help progress the challenge, but you won’t need a fully equipped gym to get started. Bands/lightweights useful.

How much time do I need?

You don’t need to spend hours every day doing rehab. The programme gives you a clear structure to follow across the 8 weeks, so you can focus on consistent, purposeful work rather than doing more for the sake of it.

Can I do this alongside my normal training?

For many people, yes. The Blueprint is designed to help you build movement, control and strength and can often sit alongside existing gym work, running or other activity. You may need to adjust overall training load depending on your symptoms and starting point.

What if I currently have hip or back pain?

The Blueprint may be suitable for people dealing with ongoing tightness, stiffness or recurring discomfort, but it isn’t a replacement for individual assessment or medical care. If you have severe, unexplained or rapidly worsening symptoms, a recent significant injury, or you’re unsure whether exercise is appropriate, get assessed before starting.

Is this personalised to me?
