About The Move Doctor
Helping you move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free.
At The Move Doctor, we believe everyone deserves to move with confidence - without relying on endless clinic visits, guesswork, or short-term fixes.
Our mission is simple: to give you the tools and knowledge to take control of your body and build strength that lasts.
👋 Meet Leigh, Founder & Sports Therapist
Hey I’m Leigh, a sports therapist with over 10 years of experience helping people overcome injuries, rebuild strength, and move without pain.
After years in the clinic, I noticed a problem: most people never got the chance to truly own their recovery.
They’d leave sessions unsure what to do next - and stuck repeating the same patterns.
So I created The Move Doctor Online: a platform that brings evidence-based rehab programmes directly to you - simple, progressive, and designed to fit real life.
💪 Our Approach
Evidence-based: Built from proven clinical methods and research-backed principles.
Movement-focused: We don’t just treat symptoms - we rebuild how your body moves.
Accessible anywhere: Train from home, gym, or travel - no waiting rooms required.

Philosophy
What makes these different from generic rehab plans? Every programmes is built by me, Leigh Edwards 'The Move Doctor'. I've spent over a decade helping athletes and everyday movers rebuild strength, mobility and confidence after injury. These aren't just exercises - they're roadmaps for long term resilience.
I’ve tried other programmes before — why will this work for me? Because this isn’t a quick-fix or a cookie-cutter PDF. Every plan is built around how real people recover: restoring strength, control, and confidence step-by-step so your body learns to stay healthy for good.
What if I’ve been injured for months (or years)? Is it too late? Never. Your body is always capable of change - it just needs the right input, in the right order. That’s exactly what these roadmaps provide.
Do I have to be an athlete to use these? Not at all. These are for anyone who values movement and wants to perform better - whether that’s lifting in the gym, playing sport, or simply living pain-free day to day.
Why do you focus so much on education as well as exercises? Because when you understand why something hurts and how to fix it, you take back control. Education turns fear into confidence - and that’s when recovery really sticks.
How is this different from seeing a therapist in person? Most in-person sessions are short and reactive. These programmes give you a full-scale roadmap - what to do, when, and how to progress - with the same attention I’d give you in clinic, just on your schedule.
